About Us

Brief description

Thorpe Park is one of the UK’s most popular theme parks & makes a thrilling location for events. Situated just inside the M25, between the M4 & M3, it has an outdoor capacity for 15,000 people & something to offer just about everyone, whatever the occasion, be it a fun day, dinner, conference, award ceremony or teambuilding event. On-site venues include the brand new contemporary events venue, Lake View, which offers 940 square metres of adaptable space. Positioned on the edge of the Park by the banks of a beautiful lake & away from the bustle of the rides, the venue overlooks a private tree-lined landscaped garden, perfect for alfresco entertaining. Conceived by the team from the award-winning Madame Tussauds London, Lake View has been built to the highest specification. Specifically designed for conferences, networking events, award ceremonies, dinner dances & team building, it has been created with the most discerning event organiser in mind & has already hosted several high calibre conferences since it opened. The park is home to world-class thrill rides like Nemesis Inferno & Colossus, as well as of Stealth, Europe’s tallest, fastest launch coaster new for 2006, all sure to blow away the corporate cobwebs! Placing great emphasis on exhilarating fun & excitement, Thorpe Park is a wonderful place in which to mix business with pleasure.

  • 5 Thrilling Fun

Thorpe Park is one of Europe's most thrilling attraction parks. It has lots of rides, for all ages. I took my 5 year old and my 7 year old to this attraction during their summer holidays. Luckily for us, we had chosen one of the sunny days this summer. The park is one of many under in Merlin group of attractions and it is a full day out. In addition to rides and places to eat, it has a man made beach area. What fun this is when the weather permits? The kids will absolutely love to splash in water and enjoy the water slides and artificial waves. While the tickets are a tad expensive, I think you do get your money's worth. Do not forget those swim costumes as you will get wet if you go anywhere near the beach.

Brilliant little brother/sister of Alton Towers, but always looming in its Shadow. The rides are varied, dissapointingly Stealth was closed on the day I went, but the best ride there by far was the Tidal Wave. By the far the wettest and most fun water ride I have ever been on, every person came off this soaked, if they had not already been soaked hwile queueing. The only down side was there was no where to place your bleongings. So any bags you had would get wet too. There are a wide range of places to eat, which are no longer too pricey if ou chose a chain like Pizza Hut.
