I hired Ravens Ait as a venue for a party in October 2004. The party on the night was a success - good food, good location, good facilities and staff on the night provided a good service. However, I would not return to this venue as in my experience, the venue did not help me to organise my event as their literature says they will. At every step of the planning I had to keep phoning and prompting them to set up meetings, arrange the disco etc. I found their staff in the organisation stage to be very unresponsive and they never once phoned me when they said they would. Overall, they did not seem interested in making the planning enjoyable but it ended up a real chore whereas you are actually paying a premium for their team of "experienced event planners". A great venue but the team of organisers offered little customer service or satisfaction in my experience.
