Beef Strogonoff

Horrible. I have always had really good food at this restaurant which I have frequented for over 10 years having birthday parties and other celebrations there. Last night it was chaos because someone had collapsed in the toilet so I cannot complain that we had to wait 20 minutes for our sweet but I must complain about the beef strogonoff. I often cook this at home. It,s a really simple dish which should be thin strips of beef in a creamy mushroom sauce. What appeared on my plate were huge lumps of overcooked meat in a horrible tomato sauce. I couldn't eat any of it and the waiter didn't even enquire why I hadn't eaten it. This was a chef's special. I think I'll go and give him some cookery lessons. It will be quite some time before I return to what was once one of my favourite restaurants.
