Value for money, and friendly
Like all cafes in recent times, prices have had to rise to compensate for the economy of the last couple of years, but not too steeply. Food is always well-prepared, and fast. All the usual "caff" fayre. All day breakfasts, sausage and mash, roast dinners, baked potatos, kids meals, teas and coffees. Serving staff are always friendly and helpful, and enthusiastic. The decor has changed recently from traditional cafe booths and tables to more "elegant" coffee shop style, which leaves the place looking way too shiny, and a little cramped, but overall still comfortable, and a good place to have breakfast or just stop off for a cup of tea.
