    Our liaison person from Activ was Mark Rouvray. He was friendly on the phone when we first called and we arranged to meet in a local pub to discuss the design and implimentation of our new site. We then met with Mark and found him to be very helpful, professional and friendly. He guided us through the various options and helped us with advice where necessary. Together we came up with a brief/design for him to follow. He then went off and produced a prototype which we could all view via the internet. We had several telephone conversations and e-mail exchanges in order to get the site just the way we wanted it. Each time, Mark was quick and responsive. We then launched the site and he helped us to access our new e-mail addresses and the control panel for our new website (ie. where you go to make minor updates to tghe site). He has since helped us to maintain the site, adding new photos etc. We would whole-heartedly recommend this service. It was professional, friendly and resonably priced. What more could you want!?

The Gold Recycling Centre were looking for an online site which would expand their local business in the recyling of unwanted gold through the the Antony James Jewellers in Kingston. Their remit was for a site that provided a simple and straightforward process.

A key part of their requirements was for a Gold Calculator on the home page to allow users to interactively calculate the current value of their gold.  The client is able to update prices for different gold categories using a tailor made content management screen.

Bevans Butchers of North Kingston goes online

Bevan's, the prestigious butchers of North Kingston, has gone online for the first time since it started trading back in 1928.  Bevan's wanted a site that reflected their tradition, quality and professionalism.  The Q Guild of Butchers was the basis for the branding.

The traditional aspect is supported by the use of old photographs of the shop and a history of the four generations of the family.

The quality was re-enforced through the provision of information on their suppliers including a video explaining the source of one of their produce.  The listing of the awards helps to enhance their reputation. A photo gallery of the produce was used to give insight into the quality of the produce in the shop.

Useful information is also provided to customers in the form of :

  • cooking instructions for different meat and poultry
  • recipees available for downloading and printing
